Arrived back in Ontario yesterday to 6 inches of snow! Oh to be back in
Destin - you should be thankful!
Enjoyed our stay at the Aegean - it was nice to be back in this complex,
with which we are so familiar. The Fundestin touch is very evident with
better quality towels, linen and house-keeping. The move from one condo to
the other was somewhat unsettling but we were happy to do it given the
circumstances.
Looking forward to next year already. Could you please confirm the
reservation details that you discussed with Alison when you get the chance.

Recommendation of FunDestin, Inc. for Rental Management
To Whom It May Concern:
In December of 2005, The Aegean Condominium Association lost its' Property and Rental Manager, along with 2 Maintenance employees amid massive reconstruction due to the 2004 damage from Hurricane Ivan. Being the newly elected President of the Association, I needed options quickly to present to the Board in order to fill these roles. FunDestin was strongly recommended to me as a Rental Management Company and from my first conversation with Lea Harney, owner of FunDestin, I was confident that she could pull our rental program together in time for June 2006 rentals. Since the Aegean had enjoyed return clientele from year to year without advertising, it was important to us to be able to deliver a quality product to these long time renters, especially since they had missed the summer of 2005. This was a tall order to fill, but Lea went after it full force.
Lea delivered more than expected. FunDestin provided on-site staff, excellent reservation software, wonderful amenities package, website advertisement, mailings to previous renters, help with maintenance and repair/upgrading of units, references to good contractors and reasonable decorators, and a wonderfully refreshing can-do attitude. Whenever I asked Lea to deliver, she did. The excellent attitude and communication is like none I have seen in Destin or the surrounding area. The one thing that never concerned me during our entire reconstruction and the summer rental season, was FunDestin. They were consistent, reliable, proactive and responsive. If an issue did arise, Lea responded to it and made it right.
The Aegean had a very successful rental season for 2005, even amid residual construction projects. FunDestin worked with all of the rental owners and the guests to ensure that their stay was enjoyable. Our return reservation rate for 2007 is over 80%. I think that says it all. I am very pleased that FunDestin is at The Aegean and I look forward to a very long relationship.

I just wanted to let you know that we have really enjoyed working with your staff. Mark and I really enjoy Carol.
Honestly, we go in and out of a lot of “front desks” and by far, you have the best staff of anyone. I promise, I’m not just saying that. Your staff is great! I can’t say enough good things. Either you have a real talent for hiring or you have gotten really lucky. In all truthfulness, we don’t look at your jobs as “here’s another service call”, we get to put a real personality with each incoming call and that makes us feel like we are an established part of your staff, not just another subcontractor. You have no idea how refreshing that is after dealing with teenage front don’t-give-a-crap front desk employees all day.
Keep up the high standards…..it shows.
